I completed the whole game (and thought the end screen was funny). Here are some of my thoughts.

PROS:
- Base concept is good and mechanics are intuitive (e.g. objects changing color when you can collect them)
- I like how certain levels start with everything faded out so you can plan ahead a bit.
- I think you used sound effects very well.
- My favorite enemy was the orange square.
- Glitch-free (at least from my experience) :)
- a few other PROS mixed in the CONS section

CONS:
- Level design is okay: you have some setups where you focused on making the player have to go to one side of the screen and then the other to some degree, or have to traverse a certain pattern of walls (good), but
- I didn't sense much progression of difficulty or theme across the whole game, and a couple levels were filler (either repeats or just a plain rotation/reflection). However, I think you at least spread out some of the harder levels.
- The attack patterns of a few objects are unfair (the pink arrow walls definitely and the slow homing missiles to a lesser extent). I think the problem with these boils down to their projectiles persisting on screen for too long, and you may not be able to remove them right away because you're not big enough yet. Then you get cornered or have few escape paths, which are too small now because you've gotten bigger. I actually had to resort to cheating (moving the cursor outside the media player) to get past a few levels. It's good, however, that all the projectiles of a turret get destroyed when you defeat it.
- The pink arrow walls seem to generate in random directions which can create impossible to beat scenarios, especially when the yellow dots can spawn on top of these. I think the pink walls dissipate on their own eventually, but I think they need to do so a bit earlier. Same goes for the slow missiles so that they don't clog the screen as much. With each missile on a timer, each turret will eventually reach a limit of how many missiles it can have out at once.

All in all, good arcade-y style game!

Wow, I ended up writing a lot about this... I hope this was helpful!

Edit: I went back to look at one level, and realized that the pink arrows don't spawn walls in random directions but towards you instead (so you CAN strategize against them), but yellow dots can still spawn on top of them!

It was good for a quick laugh. I like the idea of being able to "dress him up" with a face.

Fun, simple game that I think accomplished everything it set out to do. I was a big fan of the music, and keeping levels short but having longer "boss" levels as major challenges was a good idea! Each world kept it focused with only its 1-2 major obstacles that it introduces.

Hello, I'm a programmer and hobby game developer. I enjoy challenging and competitive games and video games in my free time, but sometimes they can get a bit brutal, so I also appreciate lighter fun from time to time!
